Private_Ale great choices. ABS is a must! Do NOT let anyone tell you otherwise. You’re going to hear bullshit like “it teaches bad habits” or “you can do better than ABS”.
Being able to squeeze in a corner is the best. Not locking up and taking is slide is the best.
Another great bike is the Dyna switchback. My first street bike was a Harley heritage, the one you see in the picture. Trust me when I say a 1.7 liter Harley is vastly different from a 1 liter Honda. You can definitely handle a “103”.
Plus, with the swtichback, you can take all the touring stuff off and ride around town during the week, then on the weekend you and your “ol’ lady” can ride outta town together.
